Processing applications
The Board of The Finnish Work Environment Fund makes the (final) decisions concerning the projects.
The office of the Fund and a group of scientific experts assists the Board with their decisions. If necessary, separate expert opinion can be requested concerning the application.
The processing of the application forms concerning research and development activities lasts approximately 2-4 months. The processing of scholarships and education and information application forms lasts approximately 1-2 months.
Development grants are processed without application time limits.
For each approved project, a financial agreement is drawn-up, in which conditions concerning project reporting, the project's timetable and the payment of the grant, are agreed.
When a project is concluded, the applicant must submit to the Finnish Work Environment Fund, the final report and in separate forms, a summary of both the project's results and its keeping of accounts.
